CHARLESTON -- Kay Casto & Chaney has named Jonathan Nicol to its management committee.
Nicol is a member of the Commercial Practice Group. His practice includes the areas of real estate, bankruptcy and commercial lending. He is listed as one of The Best Lawyers In America for real estate law.
Nicol attended Shepherd College where he received his bachelor's degree in Accounting in 1981, and was a Certified Public Accountant with Touche Ross & Co. (now Deloitte and Touche) Washington, D.C. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law with his J.D. degree in 1989, and joined Kay Casto & Chaney that year as an associate. He became a member of the firm in 1995.
Nicol was admitted to practice law in West Virginia in 1989, and he is admitted to practice in the United States District Court in both the Southern and Northern Districts of West Virginia. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
