Franklin and Catherine May, Co administrators of the estate of Michael Todd May vs. Jerod Green, Bugsy's Beer Garden and Ruby Tuesdays

* Franklin and Catherine May are seeking judgment against Jerod Green, Bugsy's Bar and Ruby Tuesdays, claiming Jerod Green was under the influence when his vehicle collided with Michael Todd May's police cruiser. May was attempting to assist other Monongalia County Sheriffs Department officers in apprehending Green from fleeing the scene of an accident. The Mays claim Green was a patron at both Bugsy's and Ruby Tuesdays where he drank resulting in a blood alcohol level of .189. In addition to punitive damages, the Mays seek pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and fees.

Sandra Ford, administratix of Ann Watkins Estate vs. Lonnie Watkins

* After purchasing and loading a chair purchased at Big Lots, Lonnie Watkins was driving home on Interstate 79 with Ann Watkins as his passenger. The box with the chair fell off his truck and into the road. Watkins slowed down in the lane to retrieve the box where he was struck by a tractor trailer. Watkins' truck spun into the guardrail causing the death of Ann Watkins. Ford is seeking judgment for past and future damages, economic and monetary loss, and pain and suffering.
