PERSONNEL FILE: Rice moves to Dinsmore's Morgantown office

MORGANTOWN – Jill Cranston Rice, formerly Bentz, recently made the move from Dinsmore's Charleston office and began offering her extensive legal practice from the firm's Morgantown office.

Although she maintains a regional and statewide practice in the areas of government relations, insurance and healthcare, Rice's move to Morgantown allows her to continue to expand her footprint in the northern part of West Virginia.

In addition to her legal practice, Rice serves as the President of the West Virginia Insurance Federation and is the lead lobbyist for the property and casualty insurance industry in West Virginia She played a key role in the passage of West Virginia's comprehensive insurance and civil justice reform legislation.

Rice is respected throughout the community having been named a Young Gun by the West Virginia Executive and was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award by The State Journal. She has also been recognized by her peers as a leading lawyer by being listed in The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA.
