* On Sept. 3, 2010, Dean was attempting to enter the Speedway in Huntington when she slipped on water or oil on the ground and was injured. Dean claims she suffered great pain of body and mind and incurred expenses for medical care and attention in the amount of $11,500.17. Dean is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.

* In Spring 2005, Countrywide called the Pettys and pressured them to refinance their home. Thereafter, prior to the loan closing, Countrywide called the Pettys and falsely informed them their home had a value of $112,000, when in fact it was valued at $74,100. The Pettys claim the defendants participated in predatory lending practices and caused them to file for bankruptcy. The Pettys are seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
