* On Sept. 15, 2010, Garry Gay was driving a 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck in which his wife was a passenger and was stopped in traffic on Madison Avenue in Huntington. A garbage truck owned by Rumpke and driven by Smith struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Heather Cremeans, which, in turn, struck the couple's vehicle and caused them injuries. Garry Gay is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.

* On Oct. 7, 2010, Thaxton was operating a 2000 Toyota Celica in the left lane of Interstate 64 when Hofer, who was operating an A&A tractor trailer, negligently and recklessly steered the tractor trailer into the left lane where Thaxton's vehicle was traveling. Thaxton claims Hofer's negligence caused her vehicle off of the roadway, which caused her injuries. Thaxton is seeking compensatory and punitive damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.
