PERSONNEL FILE: WVU grad joins Bowles Rice office in Pennsylvania

SOUTHPOINTE, Pa. - Attorney Jennifer B. Hagedorn has joined the Southpointe, Pa., office of regional law firm Bowles Rice LLP. She will serve as Special Counsel, practicing in the areas of health care law, energy and real estate, employment, and workers’ compensation law.

Hagedorn received her law degree in 2001 from West Virginia University College of Law, where she was a member of the Marilyn Lugar Trial Court Travel Team. She earned an undergraduate degree in English from West Virginia University in 1997. She has been a resident of Washington, Pa., since 2004.

Prior to joining Bowles Rice, Ms. Hagedorn was a senior associate with Herndon, Morton, Herndon & Yaeger in Wheelingfor more than 10 years. During that time, she assisted health care clients, small businesses and members of the oil and gas industry in both litigation and transactional matters. She is a past president and member of the board of directors of the Holy Family Child Care & Development Center in Wheeling and a former treasurer of the Ohio County Bar Association.
