Burks was climbing and descending a ladder with parts to assist Ambrose in the replacement of a heat pump/air conditioning unit, the suit says. Burks says he sustained injuries when he fell off the ladder and spent 11 days in the hospital, including seven in the Intensive Care Unit. He seeks compensatory and punitive damages.
