Tammy McCallister vs. P&G-Clairol Inc.

* In 2011, McCallister purchased Clairol "Nice 'n Easy" from Wal-mart in Hurricane to dye her hair. McCallister claims within 10 minutes of applying the hair dye to her hair, she felt an intense burning sensation and went to wash the foam from her hair. McCallister claims she noticed that her scalp was bright red with brown blotches embedded in the redness and the next morning she had blisters covering her scalp. In September 2011, she was diagnosed with a chemical burn. McCallister is seeking compensatory damages with pre-judgment interest.

Benjamin McCracken and Jennifer McCracken vs. Triton Construction Inc.

* On Dec. 23, 2011, Benjamin McCracken was allegedly seriously and permanently injured while working on a bridge project for Triton. The plaintiffs claim Triton created an unsafe working environment. The McCrackens are seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest.
