LOGAN - A man from West Logan is suing over claims CSX Transportation Inc.'s business activities caused excessive amounts of water to flood his property.
Logan County resident Timothy Crumb filed a lawsuit on July 31 in the Circuit Court of Logan County against CSX Transportation Inc., John Doe Land Co. and John Doe Corp., citing gross negligence.
Crumb says his property and business were flooded in spring 2012 because of the defendants' failure to control surface water runoff, according to the complaint.
He is seeking an undetermined amount of relief.
Crumb is being represented by Charleston attorney D. Adrian Hoosier II.
