BECKLEY - The estate of a late Fayette County man is suing over claims he wasn't properly cared for prior to his death.
Keisha Pike, administratrix of the estate of James Gregory Pike, filed a lawsuit on April 26 in the Circuit Court of Raleigh County against Med-Surg Group Inc. and Jacob McNeel D.O., citing negligence.
Keisha Pike says the defendants failed to refer James Pike to a pain management specialist and significantly contributed to his death on April 15, 2011, according to the brief.
The plaintiff is seeking an undetermined amount of damages.
She is being represented by Charleston attorney Richard D. Lindsay.
