PERSONNEL FILE: Shaffer joins Dinsmore & Shohl

MORGANTOWN – Dinsmore & Shohl is pleased to announce that Jacob R. Shaffer has joined the firm’s Morgantown office practicing in the Litigation Department.

Prior to Dinsmore, Shaffer clerked for the Honorable Thomas H. Keadle of the 26th Judicial District Circuit Court in West Virginia. He also was a Law Clerk for the Honorable William F. Morgan of the Court of Common Pleas for the 37th Judicial District of Pennsylvania.

Shaffer worked as a Teaching Assistant for the West Virginia University College of Law and interned for the Law Offices of Matthew Kurzweg in Pittsburgh.

Shaffer earned his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law where he graduated Order of the Coif. While earning his law degree, Shaffer was a Senior Notes Editor of the Law Review and was published in the West Virginia Law Review. He earned his B.A. from Westminster College and studied abroad in England and South Korea.
