BECKLEY - A woman is suing over claims that unsafe conditions in Walmart caused her to slip and fall.
Kimberly L. Snuffer filed a lawsuit Aug. 26 in the Circuit Court of Raleigh County against Wal-Mart Stores Inc., citing negligence, negligent misrepresentation and consumer protection.
Snuffer says on Sept. 5, 2011, she suffered serious injuries when she slipped and fell on water while entering a Walmart in Beckley. The complaint states the defendant was negligent to allow water to remain in the entrance.
The plaintiff is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages, including punitive damages. She is being represented by Beckley attorney Anthony J. Sparacino, Jr.
