WHEELING – Steptoe & Johnson PLLC attorney Jason Lucas has received the Interaction Award from the National Association of Division Order Analysts (NADOA).
The Interaction Award recognizes a member who has demonstrated leadership in the promotion of the profession to the energy industry and the community.
Lucas was recognized for his efforts and contributions in organizing educational events in Texas and Colorado as well as serving as president and founding member of the Appalachian Basin Association of Division Order Analysts, a NADOA regional affiliate. The Interaction Award is one of only four major awards presented by NADOA.
Lucas focuses his legal practice in the areas of energy and mineral law in the firm’s Wheeling office. He regularly assists clients with mineral title examinations, title opinions and coordinating and performing due diligence and mineral acquisitions throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania.
He is a member of the Belmont County, American and Ohio State Bar Associations and serves as a legal advisor for the St. Clairsville Church of Christ in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Lucas joined Steptoe & Johnson in 2010.
