Ky. firm says Gilmer Co. piping business owes $161,000

GLENVILLE – A Kentucky company is suing a Glenville piping business, alleging failure to pay money owed.

Lastique International Corp., of Louisville, filed a lawsuit in Gilmer Circuit Court against Appalachian Piping Products Inc., alleging failure to pay balance in full and breach of contract.

According to the complaint, Lastique entered into an agreement with Appalachian for a payment plan on goods and services rendered but the defendant has yet to pay the remainder of money owed.

The plaintiff alleges Appalachian currently owes $161,678.10, plus interest.

Lastique International seeks full payment as interest and attorney fees, cost of suit and any other such relief the court deems fit. It is represented by attorney John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa in Bethlehem, Pa.
