CHARLESTON – A produce distributor says one of its customers owes nearly $6,000 for unpaid merchandise.
Corey Bros. Inc. filed against John Fitzwater, doing business as Sav-A-Lot, in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Corey Bros. Inc. representative Angie Nunnelly says the business delivered produce totaling $5,655.55 to the Sav A Lot at 405 Washington St. W. in Charleston between Jan. 2 and Jan. 21. The suit seeks restitution for the full amount of the 10 unpaid invoices, as well as reimbursement for litigation costs.
