KEYSER – Childers Enterprises says Norco Construction owes it almost $20,000 for work completed at the Keyser Shopping Center.
Childers Enterprises Inc. filed a lawsuit May 14 in Mineral Circuit Court against Norco Construction Co. Inc., citing breach of contract, quantum meruit and unjust enrichment.
According to the complaint, Childress performed $255,740 worth of HVAC work at the shopping center in 2009 and 2010, for which Norco has paid all but the remaining balance of $19,068.
Childress seeks the entire unpaid balance of $19,068, plus damages based on the defendants unjust enrichment. It is represented by Beckley attorney John D. “Jody” Wooton Jr. of Wooton, Wooton and Davis.
