PRINCETON -- A Saratoga doctor alleges a hospital unlawfully fired him and has yet to pay him wages due.

Dr. Timothy Wong filed a lawsuit on Nov. 13 in Mercer Circuit Court against Bluefield Hospital Company, LLC and Bluefield Regional Medical Center alleging breach of contract and unpaid wages.

Wong alleges he was employed at the hospital as a contracted doctor beginning on June 23, 2014. He contract should have gone through July 31, 2015, but was terminated early. He alleges he has yet to be paid for services rendered during that term. Wong also alleges the hospital's reason for his termination are false, and alleges he should have been allowed to fulfill his contract and collect his due payment.

Wong is seeking compensation for unpaid wages, liquidated damages, attorneys' fees, filings fees, costs including discovery and document reproduction, and pre-judgment interest. Wong is represented by Kathryne Reed Bayless of the Bayless Lawfirm LLC in Princeton.
