FAYETTESVILLE – A grocery store in London, Kentucky wants the court to enforce a 2013 judgment against a Fayetteville company.

Laurel Grocery Company LLC filed a lawsuit on Jan. 26 in Fayette Circuit Court against Value Plus Inc. and its agent, David Stephens, alleging breach of a loan agreement.

According to the complaint, Laurel Circuit Court in Kentucky ruled in May 2013 that Value Plus owed Laurel Grocery Company $104,399.21, plus 12 percent annual interest for damages alleged in the original complaint. The judgment was entered because neither Value Plus nor Stephens had filed a timely response to the original suit.

Laurel Grocery Co. seeks repayment of the full amount owed, plus interest. It is represented by attorney Charles F. Bagley III of the Huntington law firm of Campbell Woods PLLC.
