Gasdrilling

PRINCETON – A Virginia company says a customer allegedly owes money for services it provided under contract, but refuses to pay.

Gasco Drilling Inc. filed a lawsuit March 25 in Mercer Circuit Court against Hard Rock Exploration Inc., alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the parties struck a deal on Aug. 16, 2012 whereby Gasco provided drilling work for Hard Rock Exploration. Although the contract was extended until Aug. 5, 2104, the suit claims that the defendant is refusing to pay two outstanding invoices, totaling $343,574.

Gasco seeks recovery of the entire unpaid amount, as well as at least $68,103 for accruing interest. It is represented by attorney David M. Kersey Brewster, Morhous, Cameron, Caruth, Moore, Kersey & Stafford PLLC in Bluefield.
