PRINCETON – A Mercer County woman says she was struck and injured at a gas station when an employee shoved a product cart into her, causing her to fall.

Kathy French filed a lawsuit April 4 in Mercer Circuit Court against Princeton Meadows Inc., alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, French was shopping for food and drink items on Dec. 11 at the Sheetz Store on Courthouse Road in Princeton. An employee was pushing a cart loaded with products that obscured his vision, the suit claims, causing him to carelessly push the cart into the plaintiff. French says the resulting fall injured her neck, back, right knee, both arms and left leg.

French seeks a jury trial and compensatory damages in an amount to be proven at trial. She is represented by attorney Lane O. Austin and Brandon L. Austin of Sanders, Austin & Flanigan in Princeton.
