According to the complaint, the parties struck a deal on July 20 whereby Evolution would provide trucking services to the defendant. After providing services for approximately one month, the suit says, Evolution sent an invoice to L&K for $17,011 which the defendant has neglected to pay.

Evolution seeks recovery of the entire allegedly unpaid amount, plus a 10 percent late fee and annual interest of 18 percent. It is represented by attorney Mark F. McKenna of McKenna & Associates P.C. in Pittsburgh.

Judge David J. Sims is assigned to the case.
