PRINCETON — A grocery store is suing C & L Country Corner Inc., citing alleged default in payment.
Sterling Grocery Co. filed a complaint on July 5 in Mercer Circuit Court against C & L Country Corner Inc., alleging that the defendant is a debtor that failed to comply with its obligation.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it has suffered monetary damages in an amount of $15,305.73. The plaintiff holds C & L Country Corner Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay its indebtedness.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant for all damages, penalties and legal relief, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney's fees and any other relief the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Eric J. Buckner of Katz, Kantor, Stonestreet & Buckner PLLC in Princeton.
