HUNTINGTON — A Huntington woman is suing a local business, alleging the defendant's negligence caused her to fall and suffer injuries.

Analeen Hysell filed a lawsuit Aug. 17 in Cabell Circuit Court against White Boy LLC, alleging negligence in failing to maintain its property in a safe condition.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 5, 2015, Hysell drove to White Boy property in Huntington to visit Carl Perry, the defendant's tenant. After lawfully parking on the street in front of the property, the suit says, Hysell was.walking through the high grass when she stepped in a hole she could not see.

The lawsuit states Hysell fell and sustained serious injuries that resulted in medical expenses, lost wages and loss of enjoyment of life. The plaintiff alleges White Boy failed to fill in or guard against holes after removing a tree, failed to warn Hysell of the dangerous condition and failed to remove or remedy the unsafe condition.

Hysell seeks trial by jury, compensation for her injuries, damages, cost of court and pre- and post-judgment interest. She is represented by attorney Bert Ketchum of Greene, Ketchum, Farrell, Bailey & Tweel in Huntington.
