State Chamber PAC makes statewide, legislative endorsements

CHARLESTON – The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee has released its list of endorsement for statewide and legislative races.

In the statewide races, the Chamber PAC is backing the Republican candidates for governor (Bill Cole), attorney general (incumbent Patrick Morrisey), secretary of state (Mac Warner), auditor (J.B. McKuskey) and treasurer (Ann Urling).

"Bill Cole works tirelessly to promote job creation and economic development in West Virginia," West Virginia Chamber President Steve Roberts said. "Under his leadership (as state Senate president), the West Virginia Legislature has begun the most comprehensive series of job creation reforms in a lifetime.

"His leadership in the governor’s office will allow West Virginia to embark on a new era fueled by Bill Cole’s energy, enthusiasm and expertise.”
