United Rentals claims it is owed more than $10,000 for equipment rental

WINFIELD – A Putnam County business and individual are accused of not paying for equipment rental.

United Rentals (North America) Inc. filed a complaint on Nov. 3 in Putnam Circuit Court against Cherry River Construction LLC and James Brian Hinkle alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 23, 2015, the defendants applied for credit and rented various equipment from plaintiff in the total amount of $10,894.94. To date, said amount allegedly remains unpaid.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for the sum of $10,894.94, plus post-judgment interest and costs. It is represented by James B. Atkins, Paul S. Atkins and Bree Whipp Ogle of Atkins & Ogle Law Offices LC in Buffalo.
