CHARLESTON — A Kanawha County woman is suing medical care providers, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries to the plaintiff's infant daughter.

Kristina Wiley of Cross Lanes, parent and guardian of Abigail Wiley, a minor, filed a complaint Dec. 13 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Charleston Area Medical Center Inc. doing business as Womens and Children Hospital, and St. Mary's Medical Center Inc., alleging they breached their duty to provide critical medical care and treatment.
