Banking corporation alleges borrowers breached promissory note

LOGAN — A banking corporation is suing borrowers, alleging breach of a promissory note.

Logan Bank & Trust Company filed a complaint on April 13, in the Logan Circuit Court against JBT Investments LLC, Kevin M. Tomblin and Cheryl L. Tomblin, they failed to fulfill their contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, on April 25, 2012, Logan Bank made a loan to the defendants in the principal sum of $180,000, which was secured by a parcel of real estate situated in the city of Logan. As a result of the non-payment of the defendants indebtedness, the suit says, plaintiff has lost $33,370.03. 

Logan Bank & Trust seeks trial by jury,judgment, jointly and severally for the $33,370.03 loss incurred by the plaintiff, plus interest, costs of court an all other proper relief.. It is represented by attorney Stephanie L. Abraham of Abraham Law PLLC in Logan.
