Logan County property owner blames road construction contractor for damages

LOGAN — A Logan County woman is suing a road construction contractor, alleging negligence led to damages to her property.

Alice Gullett filed a complaint on May 15, in the Logan Circuit Court against Vecello & Grogan, Inc. alleging that the West Virginia corporation caused damages to the plaintiff's property in Lyburn, West Virginia.

According to the complaint, Gullett suffered property damages, including flooding, due to the the defendant's road-building activities.

Gullett seeks trial by jury, full and fair compensation for her damages, interest and all other relief the court deems just. She is represented by attorney Donald C. Wandling of Wandling Law Office, L.C. in Logan.
