Property owner accuses previous owner of contract breach

By Wadi Reformado | Jun 2, 2017

HUNTINGTON — A Huntington property owner is suing the previous owners of the property, alleging breach of contract.

Michael Chase Ward filed a complaint May 12 in Cabell Circuit Court against Crabtree House Rental Inc. and Rebuild America Inc., alleging the defendants failed to redeem the taxes for the property.

According to the complaint, Ward suffered monetary damages due to delinquent taxes. The plaintiff alleges the defendants allegedly claim rights to Ward's property.

Ward seeks an order that he is the owner of the property and all other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Bruce A. Toney of Campbell Woods PLLC in Huntington.
