BECKEY — A Kentucky corporation is suing a Daniels-based company, citing alleged breach of contract.

Apogee Environmental and Archaeological Inc. filed a complaint June 6 in the Raleigh Circuit Court against Mechel Bluestone Inc., doing business as Mechel North America, alleging that it failed to pay the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it suffered monetary damages from not being paid. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible because it allegedly failed to pay the invoice sent by the plaintiff for the survey it completed.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $59,650 plus all legal fees, interest, and any other relief as this court deems just. They are represented by Stephen J. Golder, Arnold J. Janicker and Kierston Eastham Rosen of Jenkins Fenstermaker PLLC in Huntington.
