BECKLEY — A Daniels-based corporation is suing an insurer, citing alleged breach of contract.

Aspen Builders Inc., doing business as Aspen Corp., filed a complaint June 9 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Cincinnati Insurance Co. and Pikewood Inc., alleging they denied insurance coverage to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges it suffered damages as a result of having its insurance coverage denied. The plaintiff holds Cincinnati Insurance and Pikewood responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide a reasonable explanation to the plaintiff for the denial of coverage.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, all damages and injuries, punitive damages, all legal fees and other relief this court deems just. Aspen is represented by Avrum Levicoff of The Levicoff Law Firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
