BECKLEY – A financial institution alleges a Raleigh County individual and company have defaulted on a credit card account.
American Express Bank FSB filed a complaint July 17 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Christopher Beverage and Beverage's Towing and Transport LLC alleging failure to pay.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendants and that the defendants have failed to pay for purchases charged to the account.
The plaintiff seeks damages in the sum of $20,147.23 plus all legal fees, filing fee of $200 and service fee of $50. It is represented by Paul S. Atkins of Atkins & Ogle Law Offices LC in Buffalo. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge H.L. Kirkpatrick III.
