Contemporary Galleries accused of failing to pay for work done at Ky. Toyota plant

CHARLESTON – A Tennessee corporation claims that a Charleston company did not pay it for work it completed.

Facility Planners Inc. filed a complaint July 27 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Contemporary Galleries of West Virginia Inc., doing business as CG Concepts, alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the defendant contracted the plaintiff in February 2016 to install walls at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Kentucky. The plaintiff alleges it completed the work but was not paid in full. It alleges it is owed $9,705

The plaintiff seeks statutory damages, plus interest, attorney's fees and expenses and all further relief as the court deems just and appropriate. It is represented by Gene W. Bailey II and Ashely N. Lynch of Hendrickson & Long PLLC in Charleston. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Carrie L. Webster.
