Woman alleges she was injured in Logan Walmart because of wet floor

LOGAN – A Walmart shopper in Logan alleges that she was injured because of water left on the floor.

Rebecca Workman filed a complaint Aug. 9 in Logan Circuit Court against Wal-Mart Stores East LP alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 6, she suffered physical injuries when she slipped and fell because of water on the floor. The plaintiff holds Wal-Mart Stores East, LP responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently maintained the aisle.

The plaintiff seeks damages, compensatory damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Steven S. Wolfe and J. Christopher White of Wolfe, White & Associates in Logan. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Joshua Butcher.
