WINFIELD – A Beckley physician is alleged to have defaulted on two promissory notes.
JPMorgan Chase Bank NA filed a complaint Aug. 17 in Putnam Circuit Court against Brian S. Love MD Inc. and Brian S. Love alleging breach of promissory notes.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2011 and 2014, defendants executed two promissory notes in favor of plaintiff in the total amount of $310,882. As of Aug. 8, the sum of $262,413.28, including interest and late charges, allegedly remains due and owing on the notes.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in the amount of $262,413.28, plus interest and late charges from Aug. 8 until paid, attorney's fees and costs for this action and all other relief to which it is entitled. It is represented by Janet Smith Holbrook and Matthew L. Ward of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP in Huntington. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Phillip M. Stowers.
