Alabama business says St. Albans midget football still owes for fireworks

CHARLESTON – An Alabama business alleges it was not paid in full for fireworks it supplied to a football organization.

American Promotional Events Inc. filed a complaint Aug. 14 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Saint Albans Little Dragons Midget Football Inc. alleging that the debtor failed to perform its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it provided fireworks and materials to defendant in the total amount of $30,680.57 in February 2016. As of Sept. 27, 2016, the amount of $4,617.20 allegedly remains due and unpaid. 

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in the amount of $4,617.20, with interest, attorney's fees of $1,167.48, costs of suit and all other relief to which plaintiff is entitled. It is represented by John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
