PRINCETON — An invitee is suing a Princeton storage facility, alleging negligence led to injuries to the plaintiff.

Derrick A. Robinson filed a complaint May 4 in Mercer Circuit Court against Bobby Tignor, doing business as B & B Mini Storage, alleging failure to maintain its premises in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, Robinson was injured at the defendant's storage facility when he stepped and fell through a concrete slab. Robinson says he suffered significant injuries including a complete tear of the head of the biceps tendon with retraction and complete tears of the rotator cuff. He alleges he has incurred medical expenses in excess of $25,000 and lost wages of not less than $35,000.

The plaintiff alleges B & B Mini Storage failed to cordon off the area to prevent invitees from being exposed to hazard and failed to provide sufficient warnings of the known danger.

Robinson seeks trial by jury, compensatory damages in a fair and reasonable amount, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees, costs and all other proper and just relief. He is represented by attorney William Flanigan of Sanders, Austin & Flanigan in Princeton.
