CHARLESTON – The law firm of Bailey & Wyant, PLLC welcomes Abbie Dunn as Of Counsel to the firm’s Charleston office.

Dunn received his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law. He also has an undergraduate degree from Wesleyan College in Political Science and Economics.

Upon graduation, he worked at the Office of the West Virginia Attorney General and then as an Administrative Law Judge for the West Virginia State Education and Employees Grievance Board.

In 1996, Dunn began practicing at MacCorkle, Lavender & Sweeney, PLLC, where he was a Partner at the firm for his last five years. He then worked at Allen, Kopet & Associates before joining Bailey & Wyant.

Dunn is admitted to practice in state court and before the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern districts of West Virginia.

As Of Counsel at Bailey & Wyant, Dunn will be focusing his practice in the areas of general civil litigation and insurance defense; medical malpractice; defense of predatory claims; coverage and bad faith; consumer protection cases; construction defect claims; product liability; and deliberate intent claims.
