WHEELING -- Three Ohio County residents are suing over claims two were injured in a collision on National Road and another's car was damaged.

Justin and Mark Robinson and Courtney Breiding filed two lawsuits July 11 in Ohio Circuit Court against Bernice Lim, Enterprise Rent A Car Pittsburgh LLC and Wheeling Hospital, citing negligence.

According to the complaints, Breiding was a passenger in a vehicle owned by Mark Robinson and operated by Justin Robinson on National Road on July 14, 2012, when the vehicle was struck by an Enterprise rental car driven by Lim in the course of her employment with Wheeling Hospital.

The plaintiffs say the collision caused the Robinsons' vehicle to cross the center line into oncoming traffic and both driver and passenger sustained injuries. The defendants are accused of negligence and property damage.

The Robinsons and Breiding are seeking damages and attorneys' fees.

They are being represented in both cases by attorneys Ronald W. Zavolta and Jordan M. Laird of Zavolta Law Office in Wheeling. The cases have been assigned to Circuit Judges Martin J. Gaughan and Ronald E. Wilson.
