* The plaintiffs claim Freeman was struck by Hare on Sept. 15, 2005, when he was driving on duty as a Pizza Hut employee. They say that because of the defendants' negligence, Freeman suffered serious and permanent injuries. Freeman and her mother, Hancock, are seeking an amount of relief to be determined at trial.
