* On May 30, Kay Murray of West Virginia Radio Corporation contacted the West Virginia University office of the President regarding a Freedom of Information request for inspection and copying of the interim report from R&V Associates on their review of the WVU Health Sciences Systems. Murray was advised her Freedom of Information request had been received and was passed on to the appropriate office. Murray contacted Bev Kerr, WVU legal counsel on June 3 asking why WVU had not complied with her FOI request. She was informed Kerr was out of the office and would return her call, but did not. MetroNews alleges WVU has failed to provide a copy of the R&V Report as requested and failed to claim any exemption under the act. MetroNews is seeking immediate access to the report, attorney fees and costs.
