* The plaintiff entered into a contract with the defendant agreeing to provide certain materials and supplies. In addition to the principal amount owed, Shenandoah agreed to pay pre- and post-judgment interest at the rate of 1.5 percent per month and collection costs, including attorney fees in the amount of 1/3 of the total balance due. In August 2008, the defendant failed to pay what was owed. The plaintiff still is owed a sum of $25,471 for the principal sum and incurred damages that total $37,767. The plaintiff is requesting judgment in the amount of $37,767 plus pre- and post-judgment interest.
