CHARLESTON -- A Charleston woman is suing Mainstreet Ventures after she was injured at one of its Charleston Town Center locations.
On April 17, 2008, Tiffany Yeager was conducting business at Mainstreet Ventures when she slipped and fell on water that was in the floor, according to a complaint filed April 14 in Kanawha Circuit Court.
Yeager claims she suffered injuries from the defendant's negligence. Mainstreet operates both Tidewater Grill and Chop House restaurants at the mall.
Kaylana Slater, Yeager's daughter and a minor child, lost the support, services and companionship of her mother when Yeager was injured, according to the suit.
Yeager is seeking damages in an amount in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits together with pre- and post-judgment interest. She is being represented by Shannon M. Bland.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Charles King.
