D. Max and Joyce Francis v Matthew Darmelio MD and Mountainstate Orthopedic Assoc.
PA-Scott Segal; J-NA
* In June 2008, D. Max Francis received a left knee replacement. After follow up visits to Dr. Darmelio, it was noted Francis had only 70 degrees of flexion in his left knee. Darmelio suggested doing an additional scar incision and downsizing, or replacing, the polyetheline liner. After this additional sugery was performed, Francis still only had 70 degrees of flexion. Francis advised Darmelio he would seek a second opinion. A revision of the left knee replacement was done at UPMC.
