WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Michael J. Schrier recently joined the Jackson Kelly Washington, D.C. office.
His practice at the firm will focus mainly in government contracts, labor and employment and commercial litigation practice areas.
Prior to joining Jackson Kelly, Schrier was a partner at K&L Gates where his practice was concentrated in management-side public and private sector employment discrimination and labor law; trade secrets and intellectual property litigation; commercial litigation and government contracts.
Schrier is also a former prosecuting attorney for the United States Office of Special Counsel, where he prosecuted violations of the Whistleblower Protection Act, Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act and violations under the Hatch Act.
Jackson Kelly represents leading global corporations, national companies, entrepreneurs and individuals in areas of law such as environmental, business, labor and employment, federal and state workers' compensation, civil litigation and occupational safety and health.
The firm has offices in Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
