LOGAN — An Indore woman is suing Walmart, alleging negligence caused her to suffer injuries.

Coria (Hall) Parsons filed a complaint March 28 in Logan Circuit Court against Wal-Mart Stores East LP, alleging failure to maintain a safe place to shop.

According to the complaint, on April 6, 2015, Parsons was injured when a Walmart employee negligently struck her foot with a pallet truck at a Walmart store in Logan County.

The suit says Parsons has suffered great pain and suffering and a diminished ability to enjoy life. The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to properly train, manage and supervise its employees.

Parsons seeks trial by jury, compensation up to $75,000, attorneys fees and costs of court, plus all other just and proper relief. She is represented by attorney Greg K. Smith of Law Office of Greg K. Smith in Williamson.
