CHARLESTON — A woman is suing General Motors Corporation and Moses Chevrolet alleging a vehicle she purchased was faulty.

Kaci Cooper purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado for $48,147.41 from Moses Chevrolet on Oct. 31, 2019, and since purchasing the vehicle, Cooper has noticed defects in the vehicle, including engine malfunctions.

She claims the defendants have been given three separate occasions to fix the vehicle and have failed to do so, according to a complaint filed in Kanawha Circuit Court.

Cooper claims the defendants refused to repair the vehicle to her detriment and she has suffered damages and monies expended by the purchase of the vehicle and its financing.

The defendants breached their duty to Cooper by failing to conform the vehicle to the warranties or provide her with a new vehicle comparable in value, according to the suit.

Cooper is seeking compensatory damages. She is represented by Timothy J. LaFon of Ciccarello, Del Giudice and LaFon in Charleston.

Kanawha Circuit Court case number: 21-C-179
