WHEELING — A man is suing Alecto Healthcare Services for refusing to give him his wife's medical records.

Alecto Healthcare Services Ohio Valley, Alecto Healthcare Services Wheeling, Alecto Healthcare Services Martin's Ferry and East Ohio Regional Hospital also were named as defendants in the suit.

Terry Lynn Fador was a patient of Ohio Valley Medical Center between January 2019 and her death on Aug. 22, 2019, according to a complaint filed in Ohio Circuit Court.

Kevin Fador claims he requested Terry Lynn Fador's medical records on Oct. 22, 2019, and received no response. He requested them again nine more times in 2019 and 2020. He was then informed the defendants could not produce a complete copy of the medical records. He submitted follow-up requests at least five times.

Kevin Fador is seeking for the court to require the defendants to produce a copy of the full and complete chart for Terry Lynn Fador. He is represented by Christopher J. Regan and Laura Pollard of Bordas & Bordas.

Ohio Circuit Court case number: 21-C-66
