BECKLEY – A Raleigh County woman is suing over claims she was injured while filling her car with gas.
Deborah Baker filed a lawsuit July 25 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Little General Store Inc., citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Baker was filling her car with gas at the defendant's premises in MacArthur on July 27, 2012, when she stepped in a pothole and fell, sustaining injuries to her back, legs and knees. The defendant is accused of negligence in failing to maintain the premises.
Baker is seeking damages and attorney's fees.
She is being represented in the case by attorney Richard E. Hardison Jr. in Beckley.
