Carrier alleges Alecto failed to pay for HVAC equipment

WHEELING – Carrier Corp. is suing Alecto Healthcare Services and others for allegedly failing to pay for goods and services.

Carrier Corp. provided commercial HVAC equipment and services to Alecto Healthcare Services in 2018 and 2019 for a total of $258,666.10, according to a complaint filed in Ohio Circuit Court.

Carrier alleges defendants Alecto Healthcare Services, Alecto Healthcare Services Wheeling, Alecto Healthcare Services Ohio Valley and Alecto Healthcare Services Martin's Ferry were unjustly enriched at Carrier's expense when the defendants breached their contracts and failed to pay for the goods and services.

Carrier is seeking judgment in the amount of $258,666.10 with pre- and post-judgment interest. It is represented by Ryan S. Marsteller of Bailes, Craig & Yon in Huntington.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Jason Cuomo.
